Amanda has been providing osteopathic care for individuals and families for over 14 years since graduating from the University of Western Sydney, NSW in 2005.
She is passionate about seeing people live life to their full potential, and believes moving and living well is integral to an individual’s quality of life.
Amanda is a nurturing and empathetic practitioner that loves Osteopathy because of its wholistic approach to treating the body as a “wholistic unit”. She loves not only helping patients to relieve pain and move better, but assisting patients form a greater understanding of of their body, and educating how to prevent injury into the future.
Amanda holds a special interest in treating; postural pain, scoliosis, mechanical back pain (disc, facet joint and sacroiliac joint pain), shoulder and ankle injuries as well children and pregnant women, being a mother to three little girls herself.
When Amanda is not at work in her practise, she is probably out running, playing at the beach with her family and enjoying stand up paddle boarding!
Jacinta completed an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at the Australian College of Sports Therapy in 2004. Having worked within multi-disciplined clinics for the past 13 years, Jacinta brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge in Remedial Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Dry Needling, Sports Massage, and Pregnancy and Relaxation Massage.
Jacinta has a welcoming and enthusiastic personality that will make you feel at ease from the moment you meet her.
Jacinta has a passion for sport and the outdoors in general. She was also a competitive dancer for 15 years earning a State championship title and representing her State on numerous occasions.
Val holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and is trained in Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology. She has developed her own style of massage with over 22 years of Remedial Massage experience.
Val tailors her treatments to suit her client’s needs using anything from Deep Tissue work, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Release and Muscle Energy Techniques.
Warm and caring, Val enjoys helping people by relieving their aches and pains.
Val has developed her own muscle rub liniment to help relieve sore and aching muscles. VJ’s Rub is used by practitioners in our Clinic and is available for clients to purchase.
Rex has been delivering Remedial and Relaxation Massage for over 20 years. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Diploma of Health/Fitness. He has spent a year researching and investigating treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Rex can help with Structural Balancing, Sports Injury Management, Oriental Massage, Reflexology and other neuromuscular problems.
Clients enjoy Rex’s naturally caring and gentle manner. He enjoys helping people from all walks of life and has worked with Olympians, Paralympians, Martial Arts Champions, Triathletes and Ballroom Dancers to name a few.
Kath holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and has had training in Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology. She is also Level 4 Reiki Practitioner, and has over 20 years’ experience.
She thoroughly enjoys helping people with any number of issues by selecting from her full range of techniques and styles tailoring sessions as needed. Her treatments are free flowing and given with intuition and caring to release muscle tension, relieve stress, prevent injury, enhance energy flow, ease fatigue and rejuvenate and recharge the body and mind.
Techniques include strong Deep Tissue work, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Reflexology, Relaxation Therapy and Reiki.
Kristin has worked in the natural therapies industry for more than 30 years delivering high quality and has a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience.
Her qualifications include Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy (2007), Diploma in Remedial Massage (2007) and Diploma of Training and Assessment (Bowen) (2011).
Kristin became interested in Bowen Therapy after sustaining injury herself and seeing some brilliant results with this gentle and non-invasive therapy.
As well as Bowen Therapy, Kristin practices Remedial Massage services and Dry Needling at our Mooloolaba Clinic.
Kristin is currently studying for her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours).
Christopher Hart studied Osteopathy in Sydney and graduated in 1989, giving him more than 28 years’ experience in clinical practice. He is a current member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.
Dr Hart uses various techniques and therapies, including passive and active gentle spinal and joint manipulation; muscle, tendon and ligament mobilisation; advanced Osteopathic counterstrain and muscle energy techniques; standing, sitting and sleep postural analysis; and pelvic and craniosacral balancing.
Ti’anna Smith completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2015 and focuses on deep tissue and sports massage through to a thoroughly pampering relaxation massage. She is also trained in Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Reiki and Aromatherapy
She is a natural healer and has a very caring and nurturing way about her. Ti’anna also has an excellent understanding of natural healing through organic foods.
Ti’anna is passionate about learning as much as she can in the areas of holistic health and western medicine and is studying both Biomedical Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast and Chinese Acupuncture and Medicine.
